This is a wonderful project that not only helps to improve the lives of animals but also provides the chance for local children with special needs to experience the proven therapy that close animal encounters can offer.

The donkeys are all absolutely glowing with health and are so friendly and happy that you can’t help falling in love with them. It was also lovely to see the young calf and her mother together and being cared for in a protective environment.

Jarjeer is set in an incredible location with amazing views and even on a grey, cloudy day (we always seem to take British weather with us to Marrakech!) it was wonderful to stare out over the horizon and see the panoramic vista unfold.

I wish all the best for Jarjeer in the future and can’t wait to return to see baby Sultana all grown up!

Thank you so much for a very warm welcome last week and for all going out of your way to make our stay so special.  The girls are missing all the dogs and donkeys already.

I have visited Jarjeer several times, each time I am greeted with friendly faces. This is a magnificent location to chill and relax, the surrounding is unspoilt with shepherds tending their flock, locally villager working the land and Donkey playing in their paddock – be sure to visit Tommy and offer him a polo !!
